Historic Environment Scotland will be opening up more of their ticketed sites over the next few weeks.
People planning to visit must book online and you can do so now. There will be no cash payments. It must all be contactless.
Edinburgh, Stirling and Urquhart Castles opened at the start of August.

- Melrose Abbey
Friday 21 August
- Elgin Cathedral
- Caerlaverock Castle
Wednesday 26 August
- Doune Castle
- Dunstaffnage Castle
- Linlithgow Palace
Friday 28 August
- Skara Brae
- Tantallon Castle
- Glasgow Cathedral
More openings will take place in September
Public health safety measures will also be in place at all sites.
