The latest exhibition in the windows of the Northlight Gallery, Stromness is by Alec Webster.
Alec Webster’s recent ‘Lockdown’ paintings reflect the current constraints on everybody’s lives, especially the reduced scope of who and what we can see or do.
So each of this series of paintings is small in scale, with a narrowed focus and distilled details.
Yet one positive outcome for many people at this time, highlighted in this artwork, is a re-noticing and re-valuing of the familiar.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 5th of December to Friday 18th of December
All of the work is offered for sale (framed as seen).
