Some brightness this evening. Clear periods and the odd shower through the evening and night, but becoming mostly dry. Cold with a slight frost where skies remain clear. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Saturday 8th May:

Mainly dry with some morning brightness, chance of the odd shower. Strengthening southeastely winds will bring rain to Orkney in the evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Shetland rather dull, damp on Sunday and Monday, Orkney mainly dry with some brightness. Mostly dry with some brightness on Tuesday.
