In a recent University of the Highlands and Islands Archaeology Institute seminar,  Dr Antonia Thomas  explored the theme of Art & Archaeology as interdisciplinary creative research and practice……..

This reminded me of the first Art/Archaeology events organized by Antonia in  2010.  I attended both days, in January and in April, and was so impressed by Antonia’s summary that I kept the notes which she sent out.

With her permission, I will now reproduce them for any Orkney News readers who are interested in this particular aspect of archaeology……

And, here’s my tuppenceworth….  https://theorkneynews.scot/2019/02/03/art-archaeology-in-orkney/
