Some evening sunny spells but cloud increasing bringing outbreaks of rain through the early hours, the rain perhaps occasionally heavy across Shetland later. Freshening southerly winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Sunday 13th June:
Mostly cloudy across Shetland with outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain. A cloudy, damp start for Orkney but becoming brighter through the morning with some sunny spells before cloud returns later. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Rain clears overnight to leave sunny spells and showers Monday. Early showers Tuesday give way to cloudier conditions with occasionally heavy rain in afternoon. Sunny spells and showers Wednesday.
