Sunny spells and showers through the morning with an occasionally strong westerly breeze. The breeze eases this afternoon and the showers gradually die out, with more in the way of sunshine developing. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Some evening sunny spells but cloud increasing bringing outbreaks of rain through the early hours, the rain perhaps occasionally heavy across Shetland later. Freshening southerly winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Sunday 13th June:
Mostly cloudy across Shetland with outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain. A cloudy, damp start for Orkney but becoming brighter through the morning with some sunny spells before cloud returns later. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Rain clears overnight to leave sunny spells and showers Monday. Early showers Tuesday give way to cloudier conditions with occasionally heavy rain in afternoon. Sunny spells and showers Wednesday.
