One or two mainly light showers through the morning but most places will be dry with some good spells of sunshine around. The westerly breeze, locally fresh at first, will ease through the day. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
Dry through the evening and overnight with late sunny then clear spells. It will be a rather chilly night with light winds. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Saturday 19th June:
A dry and bright day with some good spells of sunshine around. Shetland will see mainly light winds but across Orkney there will be a freshening southeasterly breeze. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Sunny spells and a few showers on Sunday, but patchy rain later. The rain clears south Monday morning, then dry with sunny spells and a strengthening northerly breeze.
