A fine, dry Saturday with plenty of sunny spells through the morning, though cloud increasing across Shetland for the afternoon. Winds light easterly, freshening a touch across Shetland towards early evening. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Plenty of evening sunshine across Orkney, also some brighter spells for Shetland. Cloud thickening from northwest overnight, bringing some patchy light rain or drizzle to Shetland late in the night. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday 27th June:

A mixed day, initially cloudy with some patchy rain or drizzle, which erratically clears from the north later. Winds west to southwest fresh at times across Shetland. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Monday dull, overcast with drizzle and extensive fog. Orkney rather cloudy with occasional patchy rain and risk fog patches Tuesday and Wednesday, while Shetland stays mainly dry and occasionally bright.
