Another mostly cloudy day with mist and some fog patches. Orkney staying mainly dry with bright spells developing, especially in west. Shetland will have some outbreaks of light rain. Winds staying light. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:

Rather cloudy with some mist and low cloud, most extensive around Orkney. Still a little rain over parts of Shetland at first, then dry with a few clear interludes. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Wednesday 14th July:

It will be a dry day with the haar becoming more patchy allowing some brighter spells to develop. Feeling warm when sun comes out. Light winds. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A dry, settled few days across the Isles. Still some mist and low cloud but not as extensive as past few days with some warm sunshine breaking through. Light winds.
