July the Ninth………..At the Ness of Brodgar dig…….Archaeology………tarpaulins & tyres…….people……….and Hoy overlooking all – through time…..

July the Tenth…………At the Bay……9.45 p.m……….Peace……….

July the Eleventh…………………Eynhallow……Island in the mist….Now you see it……Now you don’t…….

July the Thirteenth……………The car’s in the garage………Mike’s on 2 wheels again….Last time that happened there was snow on the ground, no leaves on the fuchsia bushes, and the verge was bare and brown.  Today – green, lush, verdant….The year moves on…..

July the Fourteenth…………….Resigning myself to Mike working in my den for the foreseeable future…… We set up a work station for me in the spare room……It consisted of the sawing bench from the garage with a bit of chip-board on top.   Today …Ta-Dah!  My desk arrived…….

Makes a world of difference.  I’m comfy!!!!!

July the Fifteenth………….Herbs in fish boxes…….Tatties……….Mixed veg. & Salad leaves……And in among them all…….Poppies!………High summer in the veg patch……..
