Today 9th September:
Showery rain, sometimes heavy, mainly affecting Shetland. A grey and overcast day in the main with mist and fog, though chance of some drier and bright spells in far north of Shetland later. Winds mainly moderate from the northeast. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Tonight:
Low cloud and haar expected to be extensive. Often dry but there will be some showery bursts of rain around, these possible heavy and thundery. Light or moderate northeast winds. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Friday 10th September:
Haar will be persistent and extensive with drizzle or showers at times. The showers could be heavy. Winds will be light and become rather variable in direction. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Saturday, although the haar will gradually clear as winds pick up from the northwest. Mainly dry and bright on Sunday and Monday.
