A dull, overcast, misty day with fog patches and showers or longer periods of rain, which turns heavy at times. Winds light to moderate east to northeast. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Overcast and misty with fog patches. Unsettled with rain which occasionally turns heavy, particularly overnight. Northeast winds occasionally freshening over Shetland. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
Saturday 11th September:
Rain persisting through the bulk of day and occasionally turning heavy. However the mist and fog will gradually dwindle. Northeast winds increasing fresh to strong later. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Sunday and much of Monday mainly dry, occasionally bright with light winds. Late Monday and through Tuesday increasing risk of periods of rain developing, possibly turning heavy with chance thunder.
