Today 12th September:
An improving picture, becoming bright with sunny spells. There will be a few light showers, these becoming confined to Shetland in the afternoon. Northwest winds fresh at first over Shetland. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
Remaining quite settled for the evening and overnight, a few showers may skirt with the coasts but generally dry with some clear spells and light winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Monday 13th September:
A dry and bright day with sunny spells, southeasterly winds strengthening a little in the afternoon and perhaps more cloud developing later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
After a bright start on Tuesday some outbreaks of rain are likely in the afternoon, showery on Wednesday but some sunshine too. Stronger winds and more cloud later on Thursday.
