September the Tenth………….Soft refreshing rain……Much needed….Looks good…..Smells good….Sounds soothing…….

September the Eleventh……..Autumn weather has arrived…….Chilly and damp……Just the day for the first pie of the season….I likes pies…..

To paraphrase John Keats….’Season of mists and buttered crumpetness…..Close bosom friend of the sustaining pie.’
September the Twelfth…………..A very brightly coloured Red Admiral……..’Nuff said…..

September the Thirteenth………First carrots from the veg patch……Sweet……Broccoli starting to go over…..The year moves on…..

September the Fourteenth………………Plants & Seeds…..And plants in seed…….Ready to hand over to someone to begin their own wild garden…..

September the Fifteenth…………….. Mike’s first day back in his workplace after home working since March 2020…….Mixed feelings about it…….He’s done a Lateral Flow Test…….Will be wearing his mask, and washing/sanitising his hands as needed….. Presuming/hoping that all concerned will do the same.
The plus side – the thing to appreciate for today – is that he will actually meet the students, and the students will meet him.

September the Sixteenth………….Fuschia flowers are a bit of a tight squeeze for a big fat bumbely bee……So they make a little hole to get at the nectar ……

They’re not daft.
