A cloudy morning with a little light rain and drizzle at times but becoming drier and brighter for the afternoon with some sunny spells developing. Occasionally strong, mild southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Tonight:
Dry with clear spells this evening but increasing cloud brings outbreaks of rain, especially to Shetland, through the early hours. Occasionally strong southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Sunday 23rd January:
Cloudy start with occasional rain, then brighter, drier for a time around the middle of the day. More persistent rain expected in the evening. Strong southwesterly winds with evening gales. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Bright or brief sunny spells and showers on Monday. Cloudier with more persistent rain for a time on Tuesday but drier later. Wet and windy Wednesday then showers later.
