Outbreaks of rain will clear southeast during the morning. Bright spells and scattered showers will follow and feeling rather cold. Fresh westerly winds, easing later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Tonight:
A mostly cloudy night with a few showers. With light winds, where the sky does clear there could be a touch of frost or patchy ice. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Tuesday 25th January:
A few bright spells across Orkney in the morning. Otherwise, it will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Light southwesterly winds becoming fresh in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Mainly dry start to Wednesday but turning wet and windy. Colder on Thursday with blustery showers and strong to gale force northwest winds. Further rain spreading east on Friday.
