A dry start this morning, some early brightness across Shetland. Otherwise a cloudy and windy day with outbreaks of rain this afternoon. Fresh to strong south or southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy this evening with outbreaks of rain. Drier weather will spread from the west in the early hours. Strong southwesterly winds easing down this evening. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Wednesday 16th March:

Chance of the odd shower at first, otherwise dry with some hazy spells of sunshine. Light winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Bright and windy with showers on Thursday, westerly gales by afternoon. Mostly dry on Friday and Saturday. Windy on Friday with southwesterly gales.
