Orkney mainly dry and rather cloudy. Shetland will see some hazy sunshine and the odd wintry shower. Cold. Light winds. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

A cold few days with wintry showers, these becoming frequent later in the week when it will become windy.
