I’m still reading/working my way through the British Museum’s publication ‘The World of Stonehenge’ ……. https://theorkneynews.scot/2022/03/11/more-than-a-catalogue/ , am presently reading about the Amesbury Archer and his Companion, and also of the group burial collectively known as the Boscombe Bowmen.
Using DNA analysis, with all of these individuals it has been possible to tell that they either originated, or spent time, far from the Wessex chalk where they were found buried.
This reminded me of a poem which Mike wrote about origins, and how our bones hold our stories…….
