Recently The Orkney News Published Is Darning Dying Out? by Bernie Bell,
It gathered a lot of comments. And this lovely image from Rosie Hopkins of her darning which she was helped to do by a local crafts woman in Perth.

That really is an extra-ordinary piece of darning – it’s more like actual weaving! And – it looks decorative.
This reminds me of a dress I have which had a mark on the back when I bought it, which wouldn’t come out, so I embroidered a spiral over the mark.
