Raymond Ward, 30, has been sentenced to 6 years for dangerous driving which led to the death of Claire Anderson, 23.

The incident took place on the A964, Kirkwall/Orphir Road on June 14, 2019.

Ward who had two previous convictions expressed his deep remorse over the death of Claire Anderson.

Ward was also given a ten year driving ban by Judge Tait.
