Today 2nd June:

Another dry day with sunny spells. Best of the sunshine will be over Orkney with some cloud lingering over parts of Shetland, especially towards the coasts. Brisk northwest winds, occasionally fresh across Shetland. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Dry with some early evening sunshine, especially inland. Cloudier towards the coasts and soon turning cloudy for most by the end of the evening. Remaining dry but cloudy thereafter. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Friday 3rd June:

A dry day with variable amounts of low cloud and sunshine. The best of the sunny spells in the afternoon but remaining mainly cloudy by the coast. Winds mostly light. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

A mainly dry and settled few days with good periods of sunshine but also some spells of low cloud at times. Winds mostly light.
