Most places will have a dry day with some good spells of sunshine. There may be an isolated light shower over parts of Orkney this afternoon. Strong southeast winds at first, gradually easing during the day. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

It will stay dry overnight with sunny or clear periods. There may be a few mist patches over Shetland. Strengthening southeasterly winds. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Tuesday 28th June:

It will continue mostly dry but it will become rather cloudy. There may be a few light showers over Orkney in the afternoon. Strong southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Some sunshine and a few showers on Wednesday with fresh southeast winds. Cloudier on Thursday with lighter winds and rain for a time. Brighter skies and some showers on Friday.
