It will continue mostly dry with some sunshine this morning then rather cloudy this afternoon. A little light rain may affect Orkney later this afternoon and evening. Strengthening southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Sunny then clear periods at first over Shetland. Then cloudy overnight with patchy light rain, mostly affecting Orkney. It will be a mild night with fresh southeasterly winds. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Wednesday 29th June:

Mostly cloudy with a little light rain. It will become drier and a little brighter in the afternoon. Fresh southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Rather cloudy, misty at times on Thursday and Friday with occasional showers and light winds. Brighter on Saturday with freshening winds and still a risk of showers, especially over Orkney.
