As part of this amazing fundraiser a walk will take place today, Saturday July 2nd.

When ‘Big Granny’ died in April this year from cancer, her 7 year old grandson, Luke, wanted to do something in her memory and to help others.

On behalf of her son, Kerry Stanger, has set up a Go Fund Me page which has already well exceeded its target: £2,175 as of 2nd July.

The walk on July 2nd will start at “Peedie” granny and grandads and walking up the Kirbister road past where “Big” granny grew up and along the road past the school she attended, and on to her and “Big” grandads house. The 6 mile walk is to raise money for MacMillan and Alzheimer’s Scotland.
