Variable amounts of cloud and some bright or sunny intervals. Mainly dry with just the odd passing shower. Less windy than yesterday, moderate westerly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy across Shetland this evening. Otherwise clear periods and a few passing showers, although a fair amount of dry weather too. Moderate west to southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Friday 15th July:

Sunny intervals with a few passing showers, these mostly across Shetland in the morning. More in the way of dry weather in the afternoon, especially across Orkney. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Cloudy on Saturday with some rain at times. Becoming mainly dry on Sunday. Dry, bright and warm on Monday.
