A few light showers in the morning otherwise mainly dry with some bright spells. Feeling cool across Shetland with a fresh northwesterly breeze but lighter winds for Orkney. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight:

Dry this evening with some brightness. The rest of the night will be dry with clear periods. A cooler night than of late. Light winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Friday 22nd July:

A dry day with some sunshine in the morning, high cloud spilling northwards in the afternoon. Light winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Dry for most of Saturday but strengthening winds will bring rain later. Chance of showers on Sunday and Monday, perhaps some haar at times.
