Today 26th July:

A mixture of cloud and sunny spells. Generally dry but a few showers possible from late-morning, these mainly across Orkney but here also expected to see the best of the brightness. Cool with brisk northwesterly winds at first, easing later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Bright spells and a few light showers through the evening and with lighter winds. Showers continuing overnight but with a few clear spells in amongst. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Wednesday 27th July:

Mainly dry and bright, albeit with a few passing showers; these light by and large. Temperatures up a touch and feeling more pleasant with the light winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Dry and bright on Thursday. Remaining dry on Friday but with patchy low cloud and a freshening southeasterly wind ahead of overnight rain. Wet and windy on Saturday.
