A fine day today across Orkney and Shetland, with dry conditions and plenty of sunny spells, perhaps cloudier for a time this afternoon. Light to moderate southerly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Staying dry with clear spells this evening, however scattered showers may push in from the west at times overnight, most likely across Shetland. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Friday 26th August:

Perhaps still the chance of the odd shower Friday morning but otherwise another dry day with sunny spells across the region. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Holding on to the good weather through the weekend, staying mainly dry and sunny, however chance of the odd shower. Patchy rain pushing up from the south on Monday.
