Another rather cold and windy day, with the strong northerly winds bringing occasional showers. However, there will be some bright or sunny spells in between. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

There will be further showers this evening and tonight, though these may become isolated over Shetland overnight, Strong northerly winds backing northwesterly and easing. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Saturday 17th September:

Perhaps starting dry over Shetland but another showery day to come, with a few sunny intervals in between. Moderate to fresh northwest breeze. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday and Monday look dry and bright with some sunshine and light winds. Cloudier on Tuesday with a little rain possible.
