Variable amounts of cloud and some bright or sunny intervals. Chance of a few showers, occasionally heavy. Brisk west or northwesterly winds, occasionally strong across Orkney. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Clear periods and a few showers through the evening and night, although showers easing later on. Winds easing down and becoming chilly later in the night. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Saturday 5th November:

Mainly dry in the morning. Cloud and rain will spread northeast for a time in the afternoon, although northern Shetland remaining dry until dusk. Drier weather following in the evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Southwesterly winds will bring sunny intervals and a few showers, a spell of wet and windy weather likely on Tuesday.
