The coronation ceremony of King Charles III will take place on Saturday 6th May 2023. The Coronation Ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Monday 8th of May 2023 will be a national public holiday to mark the event. This bank holiday will be for 2023 only.

There is no statutory entitlement to time off. Employers may include bank holidays as part of a worker’s leave entitlement.
