- As of 20th November 2022, there have been a total of 16,092 deaths registered in Scotland where the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was mentioned on the death certificate.
- In week 46 there were 40 deaths involving COVID-19 (seven fewer than the previous week).
- The provisional total number of all deaths registered in Scotland in week 46 of 2022 (14th to 20th November) was 1,271 (97 or 8% above the 5-year average).

Age 45 – 64: 7 deaths, 3 Female, 4 Males
Age 65 – 74: 2 deaths, Male
Age 75 – 84: 15 deaths, 7 Female, 8 Male
Age 85+ : 16 deaths, 7 Female, 9 Male
There were 1,271 deaths due to all causes. The excess number of deaths taken over a 5 year average was 97.
Of the 40 deaths involving Covid – Covid was the underlying cause of 20 of them
There were 3 deaths in Care Homes, 2 at Home/Non Institutional setting and 35 deaths in Hospitals.
