Strong to gale southwest winds pushing a mix of showers and brighter spells across the Northern Isles. Showers scattered through the morning before turning heavier and more frequent for the afternoon. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Tonight:
Scattered showers and clear spells for the evening. Cloud building from the west overnight to bring patchy rain towards dawn. Strong to near gale southwest winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Saturday 26th November:
Mainly dry by day with some limited early brighter spells. Turning increasingly cloudy from mid-day with periods of rain from early evening, heavy at times, as southerly gales develop. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Some scattered generally light showers between brighter spells but also a lot of dry weather about, particularly for Sunday and Tuesday. Strong winds easing light for Tuesday.
