Martin Laird’s exhibition of portrait photographs of islanders featured in his latest film ‘Orcadian Stories’ opens today, Saturday 26th of November at the Northlight Gallery Stromness.

Martin will be at the opening to speak about the project which is part of Scotland’s Year of Stories.

The exhibition runs until Thursday 8th of December and is open every weekday, 11am to 4pm.

This exhibition is part of St Andrew’s Fair Weekend with Orkney Rape and Sexual Assault Service (ORSAS) as the chosen partner charity.

And you can view the films on The Orkney News YouTube channel as they are released – online and free to view.
