Today 4th February:

Mainly dry morning with some bright spells, although some patchy rain affecting Shetland by lunchtime. A band of rain will cross all parts in the afternoon. Clearer weather with a few showers following by evening. Breezy. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

Feeling fresher with some showers through the evening, blustery northwesterly winds too. Showers turning to hail or sleet on higher ground but mostly dying out later in the night. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Sunday 5th February:

One or two showers lingering for Shetland, otherwise a bright and dry morning. Clouding over in the afternoon with strengthening winds and some patchy light rain by evening time. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

A lot of dry weather but strong southwesterly winds at times, some light rain early on Tuesday. Quite mild on Monday but colder again on Tuesday and Wednesday.
