Tonight:

A dry start to the evening for Orkney while showers continue over Shetland. Then thicker cloud and rain, heavy at times, spreading to all areas tonight, showery by morning. windy. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Friday 17th February:

A blustery showery day with gales or severe gales, a low risk of storm force winds especially for Orkney, winds easing later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Saturday brighter with sunshine, scattered showers and lighter winds. Sunday mainly dry, bright but windy with some rain later. Monday bright with a few showers.
