Cloud and rain continuing to clear eastwards this morning. Drier, brighter weather following with sunny spells and a few passing showers. Showers turning wintry this evening. Turning colder with fresh northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Tonight:
Mostly dry with clear periods and just the odd light shower. Colder with a touch of frost and a few icy patches. Lighter winds, freshening again by morning. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Thursday 23rd February:
Clouds thickening during morning bringing rain across the Isles. Rain heavier for a time early in afternoon then drier, clearer weather following by evening. Strong westerly winds, risk of gales. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
High pressure will bring a mostly dry few days with sunny spells and just a few light showers. Fresh northerly winds on Friday becoming light over weekend.
