A few showers across Shetland this morning. Otherwise a dry and rather cold day with variable amounts of cloud and a few brighter intervals. Brisk northerly winds across Shetland at first. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Tonight:

Dry this evening, some clear periods at first. The rest of the night will be mostly cloudy although with a good deal of cloud. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Sunday 26th February:

Mainly dry and cloudy, Orkney seeing the best chance of any sunshine. Shetland may see the odd shower. Light winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

High pressure will maintain largely dry and often cloudy weather, although Shetland may see the odd light shower.
