Cloudy with patchy light rain, becoming more persistent for a time and turning to sleet over Shetland. Drier weather following towards morning. Light winds. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Sunday 5th March:
Mainly dry with some brighter interludes in the morning. Clouds thickening in afternoon with rain or sleet edging in during evening. Light northerly winds. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
A very cold few days with frequent sleet, snow and hail showers. Brief drier brighter interludes. Strong northerly winds, easing during Wednesday.
