Staying very cold with snow showers continuing. However, the northerly winds will fall light across Orkney, moderate over Shetland. Maximum temperature 1 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Staying very cold over the coming days with further snow showers, these perhaps easing for a time later on Thursday. Light winds Thursday, strengthening on Friday.
