Chris Mason is raising money for the RNLI by visiting all of its stations in the UK and Ireland.
This is quite something to set as a goal. In fact Chris has called it a ‘Quest’.
Day 1 starts on 8th of May
He is hoping to be in Orkney on 16th and 17th May
Until then you can follow his journey on his Facebook page and there are links to where you can donate to his fundraiser: Chris’s quest – life boat station tour
Day 9 starts at RNLI Thurso Lifeboat Station around 9 then along to catch Pentland Ferries to Orkney, visiting RNLI Kirkwall Lifeboat around 4 and onto RNLI Stromness Lifeboat for 6ish.
Day 10 starts with a Orkney Ferries trip to Lyness to travel to RNLI Longhope Lifeboat, then back to catch the last ferry back to the mainland. Then a late visit to RNLI Wick Lifeboat around 19.00.
