Any overnight low cloud and mist clearing away this morning. Then all parts will have a dry day with plenty of sunshine. Brisk southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

Low cloud returning to Shetland and Fair Isle this evening and lingering overnight, perhaps giving a little drizzle. Dry across Orkney with some low cloud developing in the early hours. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Sunday 9th April :

Often cloudy and mostly dry, some drizzle or a few fog patches across Shetland in the morning. Rain reaching Orkney later in the evening. Strong southeasterly winds by evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Overnight wind and rain soon clearing on Monday then brighter with showers. Bright with a few showers on Tuesday. Unsettled on Wednesday with rain.
