On show at the Northlight Gallery, Stromness from Saturday 21st April till Thursday 4th of May is an exhibition by Vernon Bradley.
Vernon Bradley explained:
“This is a back to the wall, feet firmly on the ground response to what appears to be a mad world. One on fire. One of too much information, misinformation, propaganda, the poorly informed and the uneducated. The sea is my refuge. It is where I find order. My paintings are the mark that I leave; they show what I am capable of. I won’t do ‘art-speak’. I am old-school. I am for paintings that sometimes make for painful conversations. If you are looking for ‘wall furniture’ to match your curtains and your sofa, then it is unlikely that this exhibition is for you.”
