A fine and sunny day and with mainly light winds, it will feel quite warm in the sunshine. However there is an increasing risk, especially for eastern Orkney, to see patchy haar later this afternoon. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Tonight:
Dry with evening sunshine then clear spells, but risk of patchy haar across eastern Orkney spreading to Shetland overnight. Light winds. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Friday 21st April:
Another dry and bright day with some good spells of sunshine around, although, especially across eastern Shetland, haar likely at times. Winds remaining light. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Early haar likely Saturday then sunny spells and isolated showers. Much colder Sunday with increasingly wintry showers as winds turn northerly and strengthen. Further wintry showers Monday but winds easing.
