Feeling significantly colder than last week with fresh to strong northerly winds bringing occasional showers that increasingly turn wintry from the north. Some brighter spells between the showers. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Tonight:
Further wintry showers hurrying across the Northern Isles on the brisk and biting north to northwest winds. However outbreaks will tend to dwindle a little overnight. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Tuesday 25th April:
Similar to Monday, feeling cold in the wintry showers and brief brighter spells. However north to northwest winds easing a little from the south so probably not feeling as bitter. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Showers and brighter spells, initially wintry, but turning more to rain from south from later Wednesday. North to northwest winds easing light Thursday, before turning south to southeast for Friday.
