Mostly dry overnight with clear periods and just a few light showers remaining, mostly over Shetland. It will be another cold night with a touch of frost and light winds. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Thursday 27th April:

Mainly dry morning with some sunshine. Orkney becoming cloudy in the afternoon with a little rain by evening. Staying cold with southeast winds freshening later. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Cloudy with some rain at first on Friday then later on Sunday, mostly over Orkney. Otherwise a lot of dry weather with some sunshine and light winds. Staying cold.
