A mostly cloudy night, dry across Orkney at first otherwise patchy and mostly light rain at times. Shetland becomes dry with bright or sunny spells towards morning. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Wednesday 24th May:

Cloudy with patchy light rain across Orkney at first otherwise a mainly dry day with sunny spells. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A good deal of dry and bright weather with some sunny spells and the odd light shower. Cloud, light rain or drizzle later Friday into Saturday, clearing later Saturday.
