A mostly dry day on Wednesday with patchy cloud and sunny spells. A few brief showers are possible across Shetland. Strong westerly winds giving a cooler feel. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Apart from a few light showers over Shetland it will remain mostly dry with sunny then clear spells. Fresh westerly winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Thursday 25th May:

Another bright and mainly dry day with some sunny spells, though once again the odd brief light shower can’t be ruled out over Shetland. Fresh westerly winds gradually easing. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Cloudier on Friday and Saturday morning with a little rain for a time, strong southwest winds. Then brighter for rest of weekend with sunshine and a few showers.
