A cloudy but dry night with patchy mist, mainly across Shetland. Patchy fog in light winds across Shetland later with fresher southeast winds across Orkney. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Saturday 10th June:

Another dry day with bright spells, mainly across Orkney. Patchy mist or fog across Shetland will clear for a time around midday. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Cloudy Sunday with risk of heavy showers and strengthening winds for a time. Drier with bright spells and light winds on Monday and Tuesday.
