Some bright or sunny intervals and staying mostly dry. There may be a few showers at first and again this afternoon, mostly near western coasts of both Orkney and Shetland. A warmer day with fresh southerly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Rather cloudy with a few sharp showers early tonight, then dry. There will be some mist and low cloud later. Very mild with southerly winds becoming lighter. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Monday 12th June:

A mainly dry day with just a few light showers and some bright or sunny interludes breaking through. It will be a warmer day with lighter winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A mainly dry few days with some mist and low cloud at times but also some sunshine breaking through. Staying warm with mostly light winds.
